 The City Palace is one of the most popular attractions in Jaipur. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727 and is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. The palace complex consists of several courtyards, gardens and buildings that are open to visitors. The Hawa Mahal or ‘Palace of Winds’ was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. It has 953 small windows called jharokhas which were used by royal women to observe everyday life without being seen. 




The Jantar Mantar observatory was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734 and consists of 19 astronomical instruments that were used to measure time, track stars and predict eclipses. The Amber Fort is another popular attraction in Jaipur which was built by Raja Man Singh I in 1592. It has four main sections – Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors) and Sukh Niwas (Pleasure Garden). Apart from these attractions, Jaipur also offers a variety of shopping experiences such as traditional markets like Bapu Bazaar, Johari Bazaar and Tripolia Bazaar where you can find everything from jewellery to textiles to handicrafts. There are also modern malls like World Trade Park where you can find international brands as well as local ones. 

Jaipur also has a vibrant nightlife with many bars, pubs and clubs offering live music performances as well as DJs playing all kinds of music genres from EDM to hip hop to rock n roll. There are also many restaurants serving delicious local cuisine such as dal bati churma, laal maas and gatte ki sabzi along with international cuisines like Italian, Chinese and Mexican food.
